Hi all hope this in the right thread.

I’ve been dealing with a company regarding a complaint.

Obviously there’s been a number of emails between myself and a company employee.

The complaint has been escalated to a head of team.

In the mean time I have requested a SAR

I know some of my emails have been discussed internally and was wondering if they would have to disclose these internal discussions that were done via emails in the SAR

I don't think you'll get any internal communications, as it will be between company employees and not you.
But you don't know, you may get 'lucky'.

Hi all I received the SAR and have a question.
As the administrator only wanted to communicate through her legal representative so I was asking her representative to forward emails with questions attached to them. I never had any responses to my questions and questioned if she was receiving the emails.

The SAR never shown any emails I ask to be forwarded on had been. When I asked their legal representative about this they said; The emails from this firm to our client sending them on will be emails that are legally privileged.
      Is this correct?
Is there any other way I can obtain some kind of proof that my emails were being forwarded on?

I can't answer your specific question but just a comment that one of the reasons people want to communicate only via their solicitor is to try to get communications covered by legal.professional privilege and so be exempt from disclosure under SAR.
All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience. I am not a lawyer and do not hold any legal qualifications.

Do you not have emails that you sent, requesting that they be forwarded?

So you don't need this company to provide documents that you already have.

Remember that a Subject Access Request is a request for your personal data held by the company. It is not a basis for a wider fishing expedition.
