  • Police seized phone

A few days ago I was arrested on suspicion of harassment again my ex partner, basically because after we split up I've been trying to get my dog back, it was even me who contact the police, anyway after spending 15 hours in a cell I was interviewed and released on bail for 3 months, now in the interview they said they were seizing my phone as evidence and said I had to give them my code or it's further offenses I would be committing,

After I was given my bail paper work and the bag with my belongings, on the bag it states mobile phone, now I've zero paper work to say that they have my phone, surly I should have something to say who has my phone ??

Tell them, that they have your phone and you want a receipt for your phone.

They should provide that. Speak to a solicitor that deals with criminal matters who can advise 'pro bono'.
