  • Indemnity Forms

Hello, I’m a self employed Holistic Therapist and wanted to get a template of an indemnity form for clients to sign before I start treatment. Is there somewhere I can find an actual legal indemnity as most therapist seem to make up their own…?
    thank you

What do you wish to be indemnified against?

I have heard some scary stories about some clients going for massage, myofascial cupping, essential oil reactions (even after being asked if there are any allergies and even yoga, then finding some “issue” and a reason to try and sue the therapist. I feel that as an extra precaution, that I am covering all bases. Thank you

You cannot contract out of liability for personal injuries (or death). Do you have suitable insurance? I ask as I don't think a simple template will do what you want.

I am hoping the public liability insurance will be ok? Can you recommend what I should have?

You should take advice from an insurance broker.
