  • Official Letter

    Hello,

The universal credit enhanced review team contacted me asking to upload lots of documents. They want a recent "official letter addressed to your claim address". The only letter I could find, was a CRB check (from the DBS), which I had needed for volunteer work (result: no entries at all). Could I upload this? I'm not sure because of its "strictly private and confidential" code of practice.

    Thanks.

That is an official letter; the fact that it has no adverse entries means that it will not cause you any embarrassment. The confidentiality is yours to waive.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf
