  • What am I entitled to see/know/have access to?

I have had two allegations made about me to the police. I was arrested and bailed pending further investigation and I understand that the case has now been sent by the police to the CPS. Am I entitled to have sight of the details of the allegations or any evidence they have investigated? If not, when am I? Thanks

you have a right to know what charge is being made. Presumably you were bailed. What does the bail notice say? Did you have the duty solicitor?

Not at this stage - If you are charged, then you(or your solicitor) would become entitled to disclosure.

Disclosure can be quite complicated see https://www.cps.gov.uk/about-cps/disclosure

The Police do have to tell you why you have been arrested and make your detention record available to a solicitor I believe. DIsclosure in terms of a hearing once charged is a different issue
