  • Alleged assault on a child

To anyone’s knowledge, are there any circumstances in which the following would NOT be classed as a crime?
    • An accusation of a seven-year-old child being kicked hard by an adult wearing trainers (plus multiple other allegations of abuse by same person)
Multiple agencies (social services, etc.) were supporting these allegations (for two years)

Police informed of allegations by children’s services

Mother repeatedly requested for police investigation into the matter

If the matter isn't being investigated and you believe it should be, then there are other avenues so the complaints are followed up, local MP / local Councillors.

There are quite a few child protection agencies you can contact for support.

(I don't want to diminish the suffering, but we had blackboard rubbers thrown at us out of the blue, in Middle School the teacher arranged boxing fights for pupils that misbehaved, with the school champ, I'm looking back at it fondly).

The question will be what can be proved so it would stand up in court. The CPS will not charge if there is much doubt.
