    Criminal record - can you get something removed

    I was arrested by the Police back in 2008 for harassment.

    The couple of made the allegations were elderly, and were using the authorities to cause me problems.

    The charges were dropped due to lack of evidence.

    I want to find out if this is still on my record, and can I have it removed.

    Also the police applied for an ASBO on me back in 2010, I was put all over the front page of my local newspaper.

    How can I get that removed from social media?

    It will depend upon what view the police came to take of the allegations. So the answer is that it will depend upon whether the police took a view of the allegations made.

    As to the second, I doubt that it can be removed.
