Also section 56 of LASPO 2012 if in relation to personal injury.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you

        I have nothing to add
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

It's a PPI claim deal. Fountain Finances (a registered CMC lead generator with FCA) ran this 'free PPI check' that when users enter their details, somehow morphs into damages based agreement with HD Law solicitors. But the only reference to HD Law is the mention of them being Fountain's 'legal partner. There is no reference to Fountain in HD Law's damages based agreement or any of their other documents.

Isn't it all in the VERY small print ? or have I misunderstood again?

The Terms & Conditions are headed DAMAGES BASED (“NO WIN NO FEE”) AGREEMENT and state:
              1) under definitions
“Representative” “Us” “We” “Our” - means HD Law Ltd, the person/business providing the advocacy services, litigation services to which the damages-based agreement relates
              2) under 3 Funding
"This agreement is a Damages Based Agreement constituted in accordance with the Damages Based Regulation 2013. The funding of your complaint/claim is related to the two stages of work referred to in section 2 above."
