On the reasons why a pax did not check in on time. I travelled a lot by air. On one occasion, I was being taken by taxi to an airport. The driver struck a cyclist, who died from his injuries.

I missed the check-in, which ruined my day, a matter which paled into insignificance in comparison to the cyclist's day - which turned out to be his last.

My point is a simple one,I don't know why this pax did not check in on time and I'm not prepared to assume that the pax failed to check in on time, due to her own fault.
