    Hi

I was involved in motorbike accident 2016 on way to work I carried on working but developed a wide spread cronic pain syndrome and was released by my company on medical grounds said I wasn’t fit for work.

I have recently been told I’ve been under surveillance since 2019 which I wasn’t aware of I was sent video footage to view and was horrified someone outside my house has been filming me through my bedroom window also they have been zooming in on me through living room window downstairs and also my side garden I felt completly violated I have a right to some privacy in my own home it upset my daughter as she thinks she has been filmed and moved bedroom.

The next day I tried taking my own life to protect my family from the intrusion into my family’s life they have suffered enough through my medical condition and the effect it’s had on my family if I’m not here to film they will be left alone I just wanted to no if it’s actually legal to zoom in on me through my living room window and bedroom window and garden any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you Barry.

    Hi Talia

That's 'crazy', who told you, you have been under 'surveillance'? Who sent you the tape? What do you think the purpose is of this 'intrusion on your privacy'?

islandgirl Can you please take a look and advise, many thanks.

Who is keeping watch on you? Is this in connection with some potential insurance fraud allegation?

Hi thanks for reply it was defendants insurance company that initiated surveillance on me but I’ve been house bound since 2019 that’s why they have been filming me through my bedroom window and downstairs living room window and garden as I haven’t really been out only for medical appointments.

just wanted to no if it’s legal for someone to point camera at me inside my house my daughter moved bedroom now as she thinks people are filming her i think they have gone to far and it’s an invasion on my right to privacy in my own home and my family which I don’t want it’s not fair on them I now feel I’m being constantly spied on inside my house thank you Barry

What I would do is report it to the police (I wouldn't bother about the legalities) because your daughter might be filmed.
I would also contact the ICO get their take on the situation. The fact that you haven't left your house should be 'sufficient'
proof for their insurance company as to your mobility.
