  • Spouse as witness question

    Hi everyone,

Just after some confirmation regarding the below, can't seem to find a clear answer from google search.

Basically, I was involved in a no fault hit and run car incident, and am in the claim process with my car insurance. The way it's looking so far is that the 3rd party who hit my car is not admitting involvement (yet). My wife was with me in the car when the incident happened and witnessed the whole thing and so am wondering in anticipation of the worst case scenario if this were to go to court would a spouse testimony be taken into consideration?

    thanks in advance!

Your wife is a witness, but is a non independent witness, and her testimony should be considered
