  • NZ resident needing advice

My mother is in a care home, in the UK and my issue is financial. My uncle was managing my mothers money, as she is unfit to do so. He has now become unwell himself. I am an only child and was unable to get a POA because my Mother became very unwell very quickly. I am unable to set up a bank account in the UK as I do not live there. I have looked into the court of protection: as a deputy. Has anyone else got any advice for me? Time is of the essence and I am unable to travel.
