  • APS Financial - looks like they are being struck off Companies house

    I am owed approx. £500 by this financial services provider. They provide credit cards. It is a long story, but they definitely owe me the money, and are refusing to pay.

    Their website states their trading company number is 04947027.

    That is this company;

    The odd thing is that their website states their company name is 'APS Financial LTD' and that brings back this company info, at the same address:

    It is also the entity I took on once before in Court. They did not object to being named as the entity I was suing back then.

    This company applied at the end of last month to be voluntarily struck off the Companies house register.

    That was reported in the royal Gazette yesterday.

    I am wondering if I can use this as leverage ot get the money paid? To throw a spanner in the works of the proposed strike off? etc.

    Any advice?

      I am unsure how the rules work but APS financial run the cashplus cards which I have. They applied and were successful in becoming a fully fledged bank earlier in the year so whether they have to come away from companies house to become a bank I am unsure. All I am saying is check up on this point if it is relevant in case there is a justifiable reason for there actions at companies house.
