Hi, I have had POA for mum for 2.5 years. Mum has severe dementia. Mum is fortunate to have savings and self funds, her pensions , savings and interest cover the home fees so savings remain the same. Mum's total assets are around 800,000, this includes an empty flat to go on the market shortly. I'm more than likely separating in the next few months and wish to buy my wife out of our property, this to keep our 3 children as settled as possible. Am I allowed to take an early inheritance from Mums savings ? My brother and sister who are named on Mums will are happy with this arrangement but I do not want to do anything illegal. Any advice or ideas would be welcome. Many thanks
