Hi,
My friend was in court the other day asking for a Statutory Demand to be set aside. It's a really complicated case. He was a litigant in person and he feels the Judge didnt really speak to him just the other sides Barrister. The Judge said he didn't satisfy all of the four tests to set aside the statutory demand. The other side lobbied for him to be made bankrupt and the Judge made him bankrupt.
The debt is £100k but he has a counter claim for £400k which he can prove.
Any idea's how to at least have a bash at challenging this? He has no money. He has severe dyslexia but he is trying really hard to get a better outcome.
Thanks.
