A company is threatening to take me to court over a matter involving another company. The first wants me to share the emails I have exchanged with the second but they are marked- "This email is confidential, may be legally privileged, and is for the intended recipient only. Access, disclosure, copying, distribution, or reliance on any of it by anyone else is prohibited and may be a criminal offence."
It may help my own case to share them but not sure if I should especially since the second company is also being targetted for legal action. I initially said I would only share them if requested to do so by trading standards (they may be involved in any case) and the first company is now trying to take that route. I have shared the main essence of the emails already but not the whole things.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
