Hello, if a kitchen design company gives a client a price for a kitchen install, arranges the installer to come to the clients home and arranges all correspondence, handles the installs dates, delivers the kitchen goods to the installer (not the client) and basically act as a go between between the client and installer , is this legally classed as a subcontracted installer?

Can the kitchen design company legally claim he is not the primary contractor and has not sub contracted the work in order to not be liable for a independent installers mistake?

further more if the kitchen design company is not crystal clear to the client that the installer is not part of the kitchen design company is this misleading/ illegal?
