Hello!
I am just wondering if anyone knows approximately how long a medical negligence case takes to conclude after allocation to multitrack and the first case management hearing has happened.
Ofcourse it would depend on the complexity however in general has anyone had experience on how long it takes on average, considering how much time frame a judge would give in their directions. i have been told a ballpark figure of 12/18 months but im not sure.
Also we would like to hopefully settle the claim (we are the claimants) before trial, but i doubt our solicitor would make a part 36 offer at least until after disclosure and inspection has taken place, in which case does anyone know in general terms how long the disclosure and inspection period of a case takes on multitrack claims in medical negligence?
we would like the case to hopfully be concluded soon after the case management conference without lots of further delays happening
thank you
