    Hi All
    just signed up so hi

ok it’s a weird scenario so hopefully you can help.

my wife was married before and had to go court to get her property etc. Up shot is my wife won and court said ex can’t have any entitlement to property. FYI he didn’t turn up to any hearing and ignored letters.
    Court advised
    a) get ex name of deeds, if he doesn’t sign, court said they will sign on his behalf.
    b) try to get his name off mortgage

so to achieve a) how do we do this ? He has now agreed to sign any necessary paperwork so is it a case of completing transfer document ? Or does this have to go through bank who have mortgage

    B) getting his name off mortgage, would this be a case of checking my wife’s income if she can afford the mortgage ?
I pay for it myself so I transfer money to her so the money I transfer considered acceptable income ?

    thanks
