  • Employer Breach contract of employment

My husband has worked for his current employer for 31 years.

    He's a fabricator welder.

In his contract of employment, they have stipulated that they will supply PPE clothing, when my husband or other members of staff have asked, they boss has refused.

Surely by refusing to supply PPE clothing is a breach of Health and Safety guidelines and a breach of his contract of employment!?

BTW he works for a small family run business and there is no human resources department, so its very hard to get anywhere as the boss is very unhelpful with the staff.
