  • How to save my cousin?

We, cousins, were driving back home after a party last day. And David, who was driving the car was just speeding up. We were caught for speeding up and the police smelled alcohol on his breath.
He failed the roadside breathing test and was arrested. We are in a confused state and are helpless. Kindly guide, to escape from the situation.
I hope, only law people can do something. We are planning to meet some defence lawyer in toronto. What are the penalties for drunk driving in Canada?
Hope you will come up with some replies. It will be extremely grateful. Thank you!

This is a UK based site and I doubt there will be anyone who can help you from this side of the pond. Doubt if there are escape routes from DWI
