  • Legal Charge Form Witness Signature.

I have a joint loan with my ex husband which is secured on the family home. The loan was from Welcome Finance. I have obtained a copy of the Legal Charge Form which completed when the loan was taken. The form is signed my my ex husband and myself. The witness signature on the form is that of my ex husbands's friend. Is this the normal way to witness the Legal Charge Form. The reason I ask is that the form states it is an agreement between both parties i. e. Welcome Finance and my ex husband & myself. Should Welcome Finance have not have provided the witness signature on behalf of Welcome Finance in the same way as my ex husband and myself signed the form to make the agreement. I would also add my ex husband's friend was not present when the form was signed by myself.. Is this Legal Charge Form lawful. I would appreciate any advice on this as ex husband has stopped paying the loan.
