    Hi

I see in the notes in library by Amethyst that one should allow 28 days for bank to refund before court. (14 day Prelim + 14 day LBA.)

If a para is added to the DPA letter to ask for all charges back as well as other info--wouldn't that effectively shorten the timescales by 14 days?

Assuming you actually got a refund at DPA stage, how would you know the amount was correct if have not yet received your data?

      Prelim

Good point--but the worda ask for proof also of course

I was assuming as they all don't give you anyyhing at DPA stage-then we had given them 14 days already--No? Yes?

I do know that there is 1 successful site (at least) that thinks like this and so shortens the timescale

Penalty charges shortens the timescale but the norm is usually 28 days with other sites. It is horses for courses. This site advises two letters and 28 days, it is up to you which site advice you want to take because this is your claim and only what you want to do should be important.
