My partner and her ex have a court order to abide to on everything concerning their daughter who ‘choose’ to live with the father via CAFCAS procedures which in itself were terribly done.
He fails to communicate with my partner about anything then on the same day he expects he sends a text ‘you can have her for the next two weeks as your 2 weeks from 5pm today’
So, no notice period, which is set by the court, nothing.
School - no input or notifications from hand-outs, in the court order is clearly says copies should reach the mother. Doesn’t happen.
Encouraging the child to call or go around to stay for either tea or overnight other than the standard every other weekend, doesn’t happen.
These the type of thing that is going on. We mentioned this to the solicitor that fought for us in court 2 years ago but he said we haven’t really got enough to turn things around or go back to court. CAFCAS were useless, unfair and didn’t carry out checks properly. The guy is a control freak beyond belief and is making his daughter the same.
