  • Kids Holidays

Hi all, My young Children have mentioned they are going on Holidays this week for 10 Days to Spain with my ex. I have parental responsibility for the Kids, and there is a contact order in place to see them. My questions is, should their mother make me aware of when they are going and when they are back etc, which she has yet to do. We reside in NI but reading up in England and Wales taking them out of the country without permission is seen as Child Abduction. If I am missing contact with the Kids, or calling for them and no one there surely that is wrong.

I am not looking to stop the Kids going on Holiday, or bring law into it just want the mother to be made aware that what she is doing is wrong.

And why do you want to do that?

There’s a court order in place to see them, and it’s been broken over and over, she will not communicate with me and has caused me and my family a lot of grief over the last few years. She thinks she is above the law and can do what she wants regardless of the consequences; I just want things to be done right
