My wife left me after I suspected she was having an affair. Since leaving, she has been suspended from work. They later apologised and offered her her job back. She refused the offer. As she is now out of work, is there any way she can claim financial support from me? Our daughter has been with me for most of the time since she left.

Re: support for wife who has now lost her job
If your daughters live with you then the answer is NO. If the girls live with their mother then yes maintenance for the CHILDREN is something that you can do. To be honest, if she left you and found suitable accommodation then she can support herself so I cannot see at the moment why you would have to give her any money unless it was you who had left the family home and there was a mortgage and children to support.Originally posted by wfcfan1964 View PostMy wife left me after I suspected she was having an affair.
