  • Child arrangement order

Please can I have opinions on the following-
Son divorced, 2 children live with their mother at the moment. House on market, when it sells, then 50/50 equal shared care will kick in when son obtains a new home. Son currently has children just under 40% of the time and handovers/travel have always been shared, Handovers take place outside their home and the latest court order reads "children will come out to/leave him.". I interpret this to mean out to OR leave him, not out to AND leave, but his ex claims it means he has to do all he the collections and returns of the children

without seeing fuller wording, to me it makes sense only as "and".
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

Yes the wording isn't clear, He sent email to court asking for clarification but hasn't received a reply. We read it as the children will come out to the car to meet him or leave him whichever applies. Handovers have always been shared and the existing sharing arrangements were not discussed in court
