  • Seperation not going well....advice please

I have recently seperated from my partner. (No marriage or Civil Partnership).

She has not taken the seperation well and has contacted some of my work colleagues (accusing me of having an affair with them ~ I am not) my daughter (not a nice message) and me via email threatening & trying to black mail me.

Last Wednesday I sent here a text saying I was arriving today to start collecting the est of my stuff (mainly tools & equiptment) from outside the property. This morning I sent another text saying I would arrive at 9:30. I arrived at 9:15, and no sign of the ex. Until she then arrived in a large car & proceeded to block me in. She then removed my keys from my vehicle. refusing there return. I called the policie & switched on my audio recorder on my phone.

Anyway, the police arrived & recovered my keys (less my new home's key) . One of the officiers told me my former partner had made an allegation against me I would hear in due course. Now I have never done anything wrong, and am now concerned about this allegation, which I have no idea what it is.

I am told I will hear in due course...is this right ? What do I do about the rest of my stuff...its valuable & I am concerned she'll sell it or wreck & deny knowledege....any advice please.

Sorry, can't help with your main question but just to say if you think she might now be in possession of a key to your new home changes the locks immediately.
All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience. I am not a lawyer and do not hold any legal qualifications.

I agree absolutely with the above. You could write to her asking if a third party could collect the items if she does not want you to go there?
