Hi quick ask for a friend of mine. He’s been married 20 plus years and it looks like divorce is on the horizon. There has been no cheating, his partner has just fallen out of love with him and she doesn’t like the person she is around him. Sadly 2 kids are involved 8 and 15. He’s not interested in the house and is giving it to her as she has no job and he is the main money earner. He is continuing to pay the mortgage on it as it has 10 years left and will benefit the kids down the line. He’s a bit worried that she might throw her toys out if he goes for split custody though. So his main question is what makes him suitable for split custody? He is self employed and will rent a house so the kids have their own rooms. He is petrified of loosing his kids and his wife being vindictive in the divorce. Any advice welcome. Thanks in advance
