My sister and brother-in-law are divorcing. At hearing in mid-July, with solicitors and counsel, a 50/50 pension payout was agreed as well as 50/50 share of family house sale profits. All good. Not so good Mr A, previously withdrew a 190k lump sum from pension. Mrs A disputes flimsy explanations this was spent on marriage. Judge agreed and requested proper evidence from Mr A by earl Sept. Is this a court order? Evidence has not been provided, does this mean Mrs A is due 50% of 190k? What needs to happen next as MR A is adamant he will not provide proper evidence, probably because he doesn't have it? Just need someone else's opinion.

On that information, no answer is possible. Your sister would do well to ask her solicitor.Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
