  • Where to start

    I'd like to sell the marital home (mortgage in my name, husband has land registry rights).
    we can't agree on splitting....
    ideally I'd like to clear the 60k debt we 're in with equity. He's stop racking up debts....
    he says we can't sell house until divorce starts then we get a consent order and go to family court to get things split...
    it's awkward as domestic abuse team want me out the house cause of how I'm living, he's a functioning alcoholic.
    I just don't know how to start the moving on process.

If you need help agreeing mediation may hep. This would be Women’s aid 0808 2000 247. Lastly another resource available to you would be citizen’s advice if you need help finding a solicitor.
