  • Loaned Money Before Illness - Possible To Reclaim?

My dad was not married but in a partnership for many years with a woman whom he lent £20,000 too a few years back. From my understanding she was to give the money back when her mother sold her house and moved in with them. Well she never did give the money back, but my dad got dementia and moved in with me. He no longer has capacity. No agreement was drawn up only notes written down at Solicitors.

I was able to for my mother. I used J M Wilson (I'm in Birmingham) but they specialise in this thing so may be worth a phone call.
