Hello all, and lots of thanks in advance for any input that may be provided
I posted a few months back about my friend who's been separated for nearly 20 years. Well, turns out she almost got divorced, got up to decree nisi stage and then life took various turns and she didn't complete application for decree absolute. So a long time has passed. I've read online that she can apply for absolute by completing form d36 and attaching a letter saying she and her husband did not reconcile after the nisi or have any further children together, adding reason for delay. I can't seem to find out how much this costs. One source says £45. My friend is the petitioner. Also, is there anything I've missed in terms of what she has to put in the accompanying letter? or anything else I've missed?
Thanks very much.
