Hello lovely people can some help me help my friend was born with one name but when her mum remarried she changed my friends name to her new husbands name she only did this on school records but my friend has always gone under her step fathers name which was never changed legally she got married about 15 years ago in a Caribbean country is this wedding legal

Yes it will be legal. You can be know by any name you want as long as there is no intention to deceive.

My own stepdaughter has used my name now for 35 years. Even her passport.
