  • Help end Pensioner Poverty (AgeUK)

Our End Pensioner Poverty campaign has now launched. We want to try to help the 1.6 million pensioners who are living on or below the poverty line. We need your support to do this.
We have recently had our first 'End Pensioner Poverty Week', which took place 13th to 19th October 2014. With this campaign we would like to bring the governments attention to a forgotten generation of vulnerable older people who are suffering in silence, unable to afford decent food, heat their homes or live an independent life.

We are calling on the government to urgently develop a comprehensive national strategy to tackle pensioner poverty.

Please send a message to your local MP now

MPs are our representatives in Parliament, and by showing them that we can end pensioner poverty, we can put pressure on them to deliver change. That way, we can make sure every older person who needs help, receives it.

Thank you so much for your support. Together, we can make a difference.

    With best wishes

    Eleanor White
    Age UK Campaigns team.
