My husband and I are going through a divorce he is in this country on a 2 year visa, I have informed the home office and they have curtailed his visa, but the will not tell me when he has to leave the country by. He is also saying that he wants to stay in this country, is this possible as he was here on a marriage visa. I really dont want him in this country. Can anyone give me advice

I assume he only has his settlement Visa, and not his indeterminate leave to remain?
If it's a settlement visa he will be in breach at the end of the 2 year period, so will not be classed as illegal until that point.
It is a long time since I went through this process for my wife, so things may have changed.
