  • Estranged dad lottery win

My father whom I haven't seen for over 30 years has won £1million in lottery winnings, my half siblings are getting 50,000 each, he has dementia and my half brother is dealing with all his finances I have seen my half brother and asked after my dad before I knew about winnings but no one has mentioned it to me, my friend advised me to seek advice as I am a single mum with a chronic pain condition. I feel very uncomfortable as I would never ask for money from them but I am struggling borrowing money from family paying it back then back to square one. I dont know if I would even pursue it if I could but was wondering if I am entitled to anything at all. I feel icky even asking this but I am very curious.

That is good news. Can you use this as the first step in a process of reconciliation?
