My sister and I jointly own a property in Spain with no mortgage. She holds the keys and unbeknown to me has had an alarm system installed. I have verbally asked her for the keys and code to the alarm and have messaged her several times. I have even had a solicitor write to her for the keys and alarm code but she is refusing to communicate. Am I within my rights to change the locks, give her a copy of the keys and disable the alarm.

You probably need advice on the position under Spanish law.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read this: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

Thank you. Just out of curiosity, what would be the position under English law please?
