Family member with POAs for Financial and Health for mother ( now in nursing home with advanced dementia) is being investigated by police, (substantial amounts missing) CoP revoked the Financial and appointed an interim solicitor to manage. What powers does/will this solicitor have in recovering monies taken by the family member that the Police don't bearing in mind the Solicitor could only act on monies taken once the POA was appointed. Where as we understand the Police can look at the bigger picture (has been going on for years) We are concerned about costs the solicitor will incur and would it be better for another trustworthy family member to apply with a COP4 for deputy
