Hi There,
I need some advise regarding my young son who is only 7 years old. Me and his mother separated 2 years ago and she has moved onto a new relationship but her partner is very aggressive and has a history of domestic abuse and drug use.
He has recently been shouting and swearing at my son and has made threats of taking all of his toys away in an attempt to force him to behave. The mother doesn't seem to have an issue with this but i do which is causing some uncomfortable arguments. I am worried about my child's mental health and general well being at the hands of this man and have concerns he could be verbally abusing him while I'm not there.
Can i get a non molestation order placed against him or what can i do to keep this man away from my child?
