  • Property in Divorce Settlement

My wife and I currently live in a house that I owned wholly before we met (5 years ago). She would like to be on the deeds. If, in the hopefully unlikely event, we divorced in future would this automatically entitle her to half the house? Or, would I be entitled to a greater share as it was 100% mine before we married?

It is worth settling something. A deed of trust would go a long way.

More immediately, she wants one thing and you seem to want another. Sort that out first.
