    Hello....ime trustee and have been given the task of insuring that a grandchild in the family receives her inheritance....can I tranfere this duty to my brother if I seek legal advise..ime unwell and dought ille be here long anough to complete this obligation but don't want to trust my brother with out protecting my self and makeing him the legal trustee

    Best to get a solicitor to do this for you. A simple task where you are taken off and someone else takes your place. It would be wise to have more than one trustee. Do you know if the Trust is a Bear Trust or what sort of Trust it is? The solicitor can advise you on which would be best.
