My husband passed away last Thursday the 2nd July. My son who fell out with us seven months ago, has written quite a long libelous post on facebook. I was told about it by one of my brothers last night. It was very upsetting for me, as my husband has only been dead five days. Is there anything I can do to stop him putting any more posts on social media. I am desperate for help, as he is accusing me of contributing towards my husbands death as I was his carer.

Sorry to hear of your problems, and condolences on the loss of your husband.
I found complaint to Bookface was of no use as they have their own interpretation of libel.
A more effective complaint was to the police, but not for libel which is a civil offence, but as an offence under the Malicious Communications Act 1988
