    Been hit with a bill for over 2000 for my two children for over 15 years ago, which I don't belive I ever owed as always paid, they messed up all paper work, which there claming they never recived, iv done everything I was ment 2, went for my right of access to all info, still can't find where this is from, the cms have now taken over the case who don't seem to no where this money is owed from, the cms have now taken the full amount out of my account of which money wasn't mine was a customer as I'm a self employed builder, I wrote to my local court to contest when the took the money out and froze the funds, now this week got a letter from local court saying they have no record of my case, now they have released the funds to her! Please help me, iv always paid this has been 6months of hell now they have taken money that doesn't belong to me, what do i do

    Hello Nicky. Hope you are doing well.

    I agree with your comment, as it totally seems like the organisation/company has messed up with all the records. I believe the best thing to solve this would be to collect/find all the evidence you have and provide it to the organisation. I will also suggest you complain about it to citizen advice or similar organisation, and report this issue to your bank, as it could possibly be a fraud or unauthorised payment.
