    Good morning everybody,

I need some advice/opinions on a delicate matter. A good friend of mine has asked me to be an unofficial trustee. He wishes to deposit a sum of money into my bank and upon his death, administer the said money to an ex girlfriend of his in the form of a monthly figure to ease her outgoings until she dies. She is elderly. We wish to put into place an contract but not too sure how to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Regards

    Hi RYSZU140458,
I am assuming your friend wishes the sum and the monthly amounts to be unknown from others? If that is the case it sounds like they need to sort out a secret trust in their Will. He can appoint you as the trustee and there are ways to set up the trust without it being obvious what it actually does.
Suggest your friend gets some face to face legal advice from a private client specialist.
I am a qualified solicitor and am happy to try and assist informally, where needed.

Any posts I make on LegalBeagles are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as legal advice. Any practical advice I give is without liability. I do not represent people on the forum.

If in doubt you should always seek professional face to face legal advice.
