  • Settlement of an Estate in Scotland

Hi all, and happy New Year!

An elderly relative passed away a few months ago and the two executors of the will are being very evasive with regard to the details of the will and who the lawyer is that is dealing with the estate. Is there a way we can find out without getting the executors involved?

If confirmation has been granted you can apply to the Edinburgh Sheriff Court for a copy
. You can find details of the court on the Scotcourts.gov.uk website.http://www.scotcourts.gov.uk/the-cou...he-peace-court
