    Re: possible administration question

    Is this a limited company?
If so you can do a basic check at Company House https://www.gov.uk/government/organi...ompanies-house

    Regarding rights:

Might obtain more info if you tell us more:
Which company and why you think it might be going into administration

This link might be useful as well. I believe the government will make limited payouts to workers who have been employed for more that two years.

More than that. They will pay out (subject to a cap) owed wages, notice periods (if notice is not given) and holidays untaken. The over two years is only for redundancy payments. In some circumstances there is also the possibility of compensatory payment for lack of consultation. People often don't realise that the Redundancy Payments Service has a much broader remit than just redundancy.

thanks all, not a limited company but a charitable trust that leases its premises from the local council, i have been informed that there is a clause in the contract that states that the council would assume running of the enterprise should the trust try to declare insolvency and that operations staff would be kept in position for 3 years but i have not seen that myself and obviously matters are quite fluid just now sorry can't go into to many details details as ongoing but i will check the links
