  • Help advice on a job offer that has been withdrawn

I have completed the recruitment process of the hard and was successful. All dealings have been by email and I have replied immediately to all asking for references and other details. I then heard nothing for over a week and I now receive an email saying job offer has been withdrawn as I did not reply to a letter to accept the job within 5 days but I didn't get any such letter. I have no idea what to do

    Hi and welcome.
I'm afraid, although you will be disappointed, there is nothing you can do, except to contact them and tell them you had not received the offer, but you would very much appreciate it if they could resend it as you were looking forward to working with them. And hope.

In the meantime continue with the job search.
    Good luck

I totally agree. It's a hard world out there seeking work, especially if job applications are processed purely by email where you are simply a pawn and a name. Clearly, you are not going to move forward with the present application ( and from what you have said they may not have been the best people to work for ) and you should be positive in seeking work elsewhere and I wish you success with that .....
