Hello all,
I have worked for my company for over 2 years and am now facing a performance management meeting. I'm unsure whether or not this is valid in accordance with the companies performance management policy.
The key information:
We are set 2 targets, lets refer to them as A & B.
The performance management policy only makes reference to target B being met and doesn't reference target A at all.
In May I didn't hit the required level for target B and was told unless I met both targets in June I would be asked to attend a meeting of which the outcome could be a written warning.
In June I didn't hit target A but did exceed target B by a considerable amount, I have now been invited to a meeting as described above.
My questions:
Is it right that I should face potential disciplinary action for my performance when I met all criteria set out in the performance management policy?
Thanks in advance for any assistance and my apologies if any of the above is unclear - please let me know if any future information is required.
