    Hi all
    if I have been sacked for gross misconduct but claiming unfair dismissal what benifits can I claim as in JSA etc

    The important thing is that you put your JSA claim in immediately and let the guys there vet the application. You must be completely honest with them that you were sacked as they will check with your former employer and any discrepancies will result in loss of benefits.

    Also ask about a Crisis Loan as you may be eligible.

    The JSA aren't as bad as people make out, you could be eligible for C
    ontribution Based JSA, which will help you.

      I have been with this employer for 3 years he knew I had been sacked fro previous position it was fair sacking I supose but reasons being had just split with husband moved into house with children then landlord wanted house back all added pressure but didn't hand work in now however this is unfair but could my employer bring my previous sacking up at tribunial and should I make a solicitor aware of it. If you read through my other posts well they are about me but my mum put them on here you can see the whole story but I'm worried as he's not been fair and I have proof of this he will try saying I was sacked before for paperwork .
